She’s playing hardball with her custody battle from here on out.

Jennifer Hudson, 37, is refusing to help fund her former partner David Otunga’s housing costs, according to The Blast.

She’s also vehemently disputing his claims that he’s the primary caregiver for their nine-year-old son David Daniel Ortunga.

Ortunga, 39, has claimed that he has been their son’s primary caregiver all along, as Hudson’s busy acting and singing schedule has often kept her away from home.

But Jennifer Hudson’s legal team is countering her ex’s claims, saying that he was also often on the road for his job as a wrestling commentator for the WWE.

The Voice coach is also accusing David of hypocrisy due to his self-promotion of his film role in 2019’s A Madea Family Funeral.

According to her, his actions are evidence of his desire to have the same kind of acting career that he claims makes her unfit for primary custody.

She ‘denies that her working and David either not working or professing not to work makes him more fit to personally care for the child in the City where the child attends school.’

Her legal team added, ‘To accept David’s proposition that because he is present, he is a better parent would be to do a disservice to working parents in general and to Jennifer in particular.’
