According to Kasarani DCIO Mwenda Meme, 33 of them are Nigerians while one is from Eritrea.

Speaking to journalists on Thursday, Meme said the suspects have been posing as students and operating businesses around the United States International University-Africa (USIU) and Kenyatta University (KU) with the intention of selling drugs.

The owner of a popular club behind the Thika Road Mall (TRM), who is accused of aiding the immigrants, was also arrested during the raid.

According to police reports, the suspects have also been terrorizing Nairobi residents and have been linked to a spate of bank robberies.

Yesterday detectives from the Transnational Organized Crime Unit reportedly rescued nine male foreigners suspected to be victims of human trafficking.

The police established that all the victims are Ethiopian nationals aged between 20 years and 36 years.

Why do you think foreigners are finding Kenya suitable environment for these illegal crimes?
