Court hears sad case of two uncles who turned against nieces defiling them

A Murang’a court on Thursday heard the cringey case of two uncles who turned against their nieces.

Patrick Kang’ethe and George Ndung’u were separately charged with defiling their nieces in Kahumbu and Gakuyu villages in Kigumo respectively.

Th two were charged with incest.

Kang’ethe, 59, denied that between August last year and April 5, he defiled the minor.

On the other hand, Ndung’u, who is in his 20s, pleaded guilty to defiling the minor between 2014 and this month.

The magistrate ordered that the suspect be taken for mental assessment.

This comes as Murang’a High Court Judge Kanyi Kimondo had previouly condemned increased incidents of defilement.
