If you are planning to take your little prince or princes to their pre-kindergarten level, then you should be more than willing to pay Ksh 1.57 million per year, not including other mandatory charges. High school costs Ksh 3.01 million in tuition alone.
There are many schools within our borders where you have to fork out millions of shillings as tuition in order for your child to be admitted.
One such schools is the International School of Kenya(ISK) which has elementary, middle and high schools with more than 900 students coming from over 60 countries.
This school is located in a 50-acre piece of land in Kitisuru, one of Nairobi’s leafy suburbs. The school was later renamed the International School of Kenya 6 years later following a joint partnership between the US and Canadian governments.
The school was started in 1967 by American citizen Nancy Ellen Crooks, and at the time was an American mixed community school.
It used to cater for education of expatriate kids, but three years later, in 1970, it was bought by the United States International University and renamed Nairobi International School.
