Televangelist James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre was on Thursday, April 4 2019, night arrested for allegedly defrauding a businessman Sh3.6 million. This comes a few days after another arrest following him issuing threats to Linus Kaikai, where he was released on Sh200,000 cash bail or Sh300,000 bond.
The televangelist spent the night at Central police station in Nairobi.
He was released on Friday 5th morning on yet another police bond and is set to be arraigned in court.
It has become too common for controversial Evangelist to spend nights in court, unlike other preachers who have some respect for their position. The last place a preacher’s name should be mentioned is in fraud cases.
Police have not disclosed the name of the businessman and when he was defrauded, only stating that he will be arraigned in court on Friday.
