‘I’m booked till December 2019,’ speaks Akothee

Madam Boss Akothee revealed some tidbits that concern her struggles as a young girl and single mother.

Speaking in an interview, the mother of 5 was very frank and spoke about her reasons for wanting to commit suicide and other topics.

The first time she said she threatened to commit suicide, she did it as a defence mechanism.

She said:

‘It is a strategy that every other teenager uses. That is why I said it on the news today, that if I knew that I would enjoy s3x at this age, I would have waited kidogo. I was doing things that mature people are supposed to do.’

She added that if she had been a bit more patient that she would have been a different person. She, however, insisted that she did not have regrets because she had now made it.

The second time she thought about killing herself was when she already had children. She said:

‘I went through a lot that if I was not strong…I think at one point I was thinking of committing suicide but I thought about my children, I am the one who brought them in the world. It kept on ringing in my mind, my mom kept on telling me, ‘my daughter your money is your first husband.’

She added that that proverb did not make sense to her until she turned 25. And she has followed it to the latter as she is now smiling all the way to the bank, with the singer being booked until December 12, 2019. So if someone wanted to book her today they should expect her to be free in 2020. She said:

‘I don’t have one day free. My flights are already booked.’

She said that the legacy she wants to leave is one that is positive. Would that include running for political office?

‘I don’t think so. I am not ready. I do not know how I would be able to handle. Never say never. I think I would ask for God’s guidance.’
