They Cut off the man’s ear like one of Jesus’ Followers and ran off

Malchus  was the servant of the Jewish High Priest Caiaphas who participated in the arrest of Jesus as written in the four gospels. According to the Bible, one of the disciples, Simon Peter, being armed with a sword, cutoff the servant’s ear in an attempt to prevent the arrest of Jesus.

Unlike for one man in Likoni as if Jesus was present in Likoni,he would  have his ear restored miraculously to his head , but unluckily this is not the  AD times, Jesus is in heaven and he was being attacked by thugs not disciples in this case.

A man has been hospitalised after a gang chopped off his ear Tuesday morning at Kona Zamani in Likoni. According to the victim identified as Said Ali, the gang members were armed with machetes. Ali told a local daily that the criminals were eight in number. They attacked him as he rode his bicycle to work.

“I was cycling my bicycle, when I arrived at Kona Zamani as I was about to join the main road, armed men forcefully stopped me and started slashing me,” sources report.

He was taken to Likoni sub-county hospital where doctors reattached his ear. However, he was transferred to the Coast Provincial General Hospital for further treatment. The victim said that the gang members did not take valuables from him but he was seriously injured. They also injured his arm.

Cases of violent attacks are on the rise at the Coast. Security personnel have linked most criminal activities at the Coast to organised criminal gangs. Earlier this week, a criminal was shot dead in Kisauni.
