Following the burial of his son yesterday Lawyer Assa Nyakundi is now expected to appear before court and answer to his charges today.
Nyakundi is accused of shooting his 29-year-old son dead.
According to a police report, the two were in their car and had arrived near their house in Muthaiga when Nyakundi decided to change the position of his pistol in the car.
On his part however, he denied the accusations saying he “accidentally” pulled the trigger on his Glock pistol, discharging one bullet that killed his son.
He has however been admitted at the Nairobi Hospital for nearly three weeks soon after police detained him, reported to have gone into shock after the incidence.
