Kourtney Kardashian Wants You To Spend Ksh172,285 On Getting Naked

You might think getting naked is as easy as taking off all your clothes and… well, that’s about it.

But before you dare whip off your unmentionables and strut around in nothing but your birthday suit, Kourtney Kardashian wants to make sure you do it right.

The bad news is you’ll need to splurge a whopping sh172,285 to look the right kind of nude. Sorry about that.

On her newly launched lifestyle and wellness site Poosh, Kourtney advocates spending hundreds of pounds on various skin care products, candles and hydrating tools before you dare to bare.

And while she claims it’s important to “love the skin you’re in”, Kourt also pushes a host of pricey products to snap up if you want to look your best in the buff.

Among them is the sh13385 La Mer Replenishing Oil Exfoliator, which is meant to be used on the face, but – as Poosh says – “you can recycle products you don’t want to use on your face by using them on your body (Kourt does this all the time)”, so feel free to just smear that extremely expensive scrub all over your bod.

The eldest of the Kardashian siblings also recommends La Mer’s Body Creme Jar – only sh29,818 a pop – to lock in moisture to her skin, along with Dr Barbara Sturm’s Anti-Aging Body Cream – a snip at just sh. 11,264

“Kourt’s trick to hydrating her body is similar to the scrub hack: she’ll combine thicker creams and serums she doesn’t want to put on her face and instead slather them all over her body (who else is trying this asap?),” advises Poosh.

Then it’s on to the non-skincare stuff – with Kourt pushing for a sh7500 glass juice carafe AND a sh7000 glass pitcher to remind you to drink those all-important 12 cups of water a day.

She also recommends lighting up a Tom Ford jasmin rouge candle ($100), a burning rose candle by Byredo (sh9,277)… the sh8,614 Joya candle and the Santal 26 Classic (a bargain sh8,084) to set the mood before you unrobe.

“Great lighting can do wonders for masking cellulite (yes, we all have it), and harsh lighting can do just the opposite,” Kourtney preaches. “Takeaway: candles are key.”

So once you’ve spent a small fortune on scrubs, cremes, bottles and various smellies, now can you get naked? Not quite, says Kourt – you need to stand up properly before you really look good nude.

“Good posture, like standing tall and keeping your chin up, not only makes you look good, it also makes you feel more confident,” she reckons, adding that would-be naturists need to imagine an invisible thread holding up the crown of their head.

However, Poosh readers may want to take Kourtney’s advice with a pinch of salt, after she was accused of photoshopping her own naked pictures.

In the run-up to her site’s launch, Kourt shared a snap of herself nude in the bath with a full face of makeup.

But she was roundly mocked when the image appeared to have been digitally altered to make her head look enormous compared to her tiny body – and pushed one of her legs into a medically inadvisable position.
