Kenyatta National Hospital has sent out a cry over patients in its facilities and whose families can’t be traced. Who took them there?
The patients were taken to the facility by either police or well wishers who either found them sick and abandoned and couldn’t trace the relatives
The though the hospital has not released information about the patients, it emerged that they had been abandoned at the facility and no family member has come to pick them.
One of the patients is a young boy who is only identified as Dan.
According to the hospital, Dan was in Ward 3C by the time the hospital announced his case.
Unconfirmed reports stated that Dan had been at the hospital since 2016 and nothing is known about his family or friends.
It seemed that several of the patients that the hospital was announcing unclaimed had also been reported to have been missing.
Several people who responded to Dan’s case said that the young boy who allegedly has a mental illness condition had earlier been reported as missing.
Other people whose details were shared by the hospital seemed to have been admitted at the hospital by well wishers or police officers.
Kenyatta Hospital is now calling on people to call the hospital if they can identify the people.
