New suspect in the murder of advocate Robert Chesang to be produced in court today

A quest for justice has kept the family of a law fighter waiting after investigations started over the cold blood murder of their son in mysterious circumstances by highly skilled professionals.

Robert Chesang who was an advocate of the High Court of Kenya,was assassinated in his home at Moke Estate in Lukenya area.

A development has been made after the authorities have revealed that yesterday evening, Detectives based in Anti River arrested 29-year-old Nuno Hassan Jillo in Isiolo Town in connection with the shooting & murder of Robert Chesang.

The suspect will be produced in court today.

Chesang was shot when he peeped through the window to ascertain the identity of people who were knocking on his door. On seeing him, the killers opened fire and shot him in the head and chest.

He was alone in the house when the killers struck after forcing gunpoint two guards at gunpoint to show them the advocate’s house. The gunmen escaped without stealing anything. Police at the scene recovered spent cartridges from an AK 47 rifle.

In their investigation, police have been mulling over several theories to establish the motive of the murder. These include the cases he was handling in court, alleged love triangle and dispute over property.
