As the tussle wars continue between the two leading telecommunication service providers in Kenya, customers are smiling all the way to the Airtel network thanks to the greener pastures it is offering.
Latest figures indicate that the number of Airtel subscribers in the country is on the rise as that of Safaricom drops.
Many had hoped that Kenyans would stick to Safaricom after years of service and commitment to the network but statistics indicate that Safaricom will feel betrayed by Kenyans if the latest statistics are anything to go by.
Safaricom’s market share for mobile subscribers dropped by 0.9% between October and December while Airtel subscribers gained by 1.1% during the same period.
And while the loss of Subscribers by the giant telecommunications service provider Safaricom began shortly after Raila announced a boycott of Safaricom products after the 2017 elections, aggressive hunt for subscribers by Airtel seems to have bowed more fruits.
