Students to hold demonstrations over Ragira’s murder

University students are planning for a demonstrations following the death Students leader Samuel Ragira alias OCS.

According to Ben Mogaka, “Police have until Monday next week to arrest and arraign in court goons who shot dead OCS Ragira. As comrades we have resolved that we will hold demos starting Monday if the killers will not be nabbed.”

He faulted the security team for keeping mum since Ragira was shot dead by goons.

“Despite pressure mounted on police to arrest the killers nothing has been done. Ragira was buried on Saturday before his family could get justice,” he said.

A Jubilee politician Isaac Motari said police have only seven days to act.

“It will not be business as usual because comrades will be mobilized to protest in Kisii and Nairobi so that police can wake up and produce the people who killed Ragira. He was a leader we lost,” he stated.

Motari slammed Interior CS Fred Matiang’i over his silence.

“It is unfortunate that Matiang’i has not spoken over the brutal killing of Mr Ragira,” he added
