Babu Owino reveals key agenda of his meeting with Hungary President

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino is scheduled to meet with the President of the Republic of Hungary, János Áder, today as part of the agenda for his visit.

During the meeting, Babu Owino plans to seek out partnerships that will create opportunities for our young people in Kenya.

Babu Owino stated that the talks during these official meetings will center around deepening the relationship between the two nations as well as areas of possible cooperation, especially in education.

As part of his schedule, the Member of Parliament, yessterday hosted a round table meeting with Kenyan students living in Hungary who came from various corners of the country to share their experiences studying in a foreign land.

Babu Owino said that he was humbled that such a large number of comrades took time from their busy schedules for the engagement.

The MP says that they noted various challenges that students are facing and promised to lobby with the Ministry of Education to provide adequate support for comrades to complete their studies and return home to contribute to nation building.

His official 5 day trip to Hungary came after he was nominated to represent Kenya by the Speaker of the National Assembly Hon Justin Muturi.
