Murkomen lands fresh blow on the credibility of DCI Boss

Elgeiyo Marakwet Senator Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen has landed fresh blow of DCI Boss George Kinoti.

On Friday, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations posted a tweet urging Kenyans to assist with tracing three missing vehicles.

Murkomen later expressed his dissatisfaction and vengeance towards the DCI by questioning the reliability and credibility of the DCI’s investigations.

“If the DCI has to rely on twitter to establish the ownership of vehicles in Kenya then how will he be able to investigate complex matters of syndicated loans ? SMH,” Murkomen tweeted.

Murkomen has been on record for questioning the DCI boss and has at one time called for him to face the sack after the DCI questioned his role in the Sh 21 billion dams scandal.

“We have not questioned the legal mandate of DCI, we are questioning the capacity of the institution and the professional competence of the office holder,” Murkomen said.

According to Murkomen, the DCI should be relieved off his duties and the role of fighting corruption be delegated to a new commission that will be vetted by parliament.
