Miguna Miguna appaulds KU students for disrupting Museveni’s speech

Controversial Kenyan lawyer Dr. Miguna Miguna has applaud the students from Kenyatta University for chasing away Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni who went to give lectures at the institution.

According to Miguna, the students did well for booing and chasing away the dictator .

“Bravo Kenyatta University patriots for chasing away @KagutaMuseveni today. But the best news is when patriots publicly chase away their despots – Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, @RailaOdinga and @WilliamsRuto – otherwise today’s occurrence would be an act of cowardice. #FreeStellaNyanzi

In a move seen as a direct protest to President Museveni’s government, the students who were putside the venue were had chanting Bobi Wine’s name over and over again.

Last year in August, Bobi Wine, was one of five MPs arrested on the eve of a parliamentary by-election in the north-west town of Arua, after President Museveni’s convoy was pelted with stones by their supporters, according to authorities.



Police were forced to lob tear gas canisters at rowdy Kenyatta University students who were shouting pro-Bobi Wine chants outside a building where President Yoweri Museveni was giving a public lecture.

The students numbering tens at first complained about being locked out of the amphitheater where Mr Museveni was giving his lecture at the main campus on Thika-Nairobi highway.

At first, the students where chanting “haki yetu” (our right) which later morphed into pro-Bobi Wine slogans.

Bobi Wine is a member of Parliament in Uganda and musician who has been vocal against Mr Museveni’s leadership and has been mulling running for president.
