Orengo forced to apologise to DP Ruto

Siaya Senator James Orengo has been asked to apologize to Deputy President William Ruto over his impeachement comments.

While speaking in an interview in one of the TV stations, Thirdway Alliance Secretary-General Fredrick Okang’ critised Orengo;s comment to for what he claimed was a false accusation made by the senator .

“Orengo is a Senior Counsel and a lawyer that we respect so much. He can’t go on a national television and tell Kenyans what he knows is not right,” said Okang’

He further added saying, “Orengo should withdraw his statement and apologize to the public.”

His remarks came following Orengo’o vow to take the impeachment motion to the house to have DP Ruto removed from office following his alleged corruption scandal.

Okang’o instead asked Orengo to push for the resignation of Principal Secretaries facing graft cases in courts and Cabinet Secretaries who have been grilled by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) before going for Ruto.
