The Kiambu boy who hit headlines five years ago when a video of him being chased from a birthday party because he was dirty went viral can now, sing, wash clothes and sing

James Mbugua has released a new song dubbed Mathuiti.

The dyslexic boy released the song to remember the days he was chased from a birthday party.

The young boy said he was determined to put smiles on people’s faces despite the many challenges he has gone through.

Mbugua who lives with her grandmother set an appeal to his mother wherever she was, adding that he would really love to see her as he last saw her in 2017. Speaking in the same interview, the Mathwiti singer’s producer Stephen said he decided to help him produce the song as an encouragement to other children like him.

Mbugua’s story blew up after Kameme FM journalist and comedian, Muthee Kiengei wa Watoria went to his rescue following the viral video of him gushing over sweets and biscuits.

The comedian traced the boy’s family as he sought to get him the goodies which left him in awe five years ago.

Photos show Mbugua being surprised with an array of goodies including a mountain bike, clothes, snacks and a sweet-looking cake.
