The Only Way Paul Pogba Can Leave Manchester United

Manchester United has been linked with his move to Real Madrid since he hinted that Real Madrid is a dream club for every player.

On their part, United are keen to hold the player since he is still under contract till 2021.

Pogba has come into his form this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, after he failed to fulfil his potential under Jose Mourinho in his first two-and-a-half seasons back at Old Trafford.

Whilst away on international duty last week, Pogba spoke about the prospect of playing for Madrid in the future, and while he insisted he was happy at United, his comments made for grim reading for fans of the Red Devils.

He stated: “Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“There is also [Zinedine] Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football.

And Julien Laurens, a French football journalist predicted that Pogba will leave United for Madrid.

“Dealing with Mino Raiola and Paul Pogba if they really want to leave is a different story,” he said.

“And it’s not the case for now.

“Pogba has already come out and said he was happy in Manchester, but that it was a dream to play for Real Madrid.

“If he wants to stay and Manchester United are happy for him to stay, he will stay.

“If he is trying to force a move, it will be hard for Man Utd to deny him a move and to deny Mino Raiola.

“There is a long way to go, but I am convinced that one day in his career, Paul Pogba will play for Real Madrid.

“It may not be this summer, it may not be the next summer, but let’s not forget his contract at Man United doesn’t have long to go, so he is in a strong situation to decide if he wants to stay or go.”

On 8 August 2016, Pogba returned to former club, Manchester United, on a five-year contract for a then-record for highest football transfer fee at €105 million (£89.3 million) plus bonuses of €5 million.
