Manchester United dealt a blow ahead of the league resumption

Manchester United have been dealt with an injury blow as Romelu Lukaku could miss upcoming fixtures against Watford and Wolverhampton Wanderers due to the ongoing rehabilitation on his foot injury.

Lukaku suffered an injury in the improbable Champions League comeback against Paris Saint Germain which was aggravated in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal.

This meant that the Belgian missed the FA Cup defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers and also pulled out of the Belgium squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

According to Manchester Evening News, Lukaku ‘needs some time’ to recover’. The former Everton striker will be racing against time to return in the Champions League quarter-finals against Barcelona. United have suffered injuries to Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic, Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera recently.
