Shumukh, which means “deserving the highest” in Arabic, comes from luxury fragrance brand The Spirit of Dubai. It’s housed in a rare crystal bottle adorned with 38.55 carats of diamonds, giant pearls, two kilograms of 18-karat gold and more than five kilograms of pure silver.

Valued at USD$1,295,000, the three litre bottle also comes with two remote controls to adjust the height of its LED-lit rotating black leather pedestal and another to automate its spray.

Even the manual is encrusted with 456 diamonds and engraved with 18 karat gold, topped off with a selection of blue topaz, pearls, howlite and enamel detailing.

So, you know, it’s fancy.

The unisex fragrance features “notes of amber, sandalwood, musk, rare pure Indian agarwood, pure Turkish rose, patchouli ylang-ylang, and frankincense that are estimated to last on the skin for more than 12 hours,” per the company’s website.

Shumukh’s bottle is also tied to Dubai’s heritage, featuring gold statuettes and cultural symbols. The imperial falcon Baz sits on top of the fragrance, crafted from gold and embedded with 561 diamonds ranging in shades from cognac to white to create a textured feathery effect. The black diamond eyes and beak are made of black onyx.

Currently, the fragrance sits on a cushy, leather stand and is on display for viewing at the Dubai Mall.
