The ‘Abebo’ hit maker,Akothee has won Kenyans hearts for standing with Turkana county which is facing hunger strike. Although she has always received negative comments for her lifestyle which is described as indecent life, Akothee is receiving all praises for her kind hearted action.
Reaching Turkana, she adopted their lifestyle and became part of the community. Kenyans even made fun out of it telling her that she must have been born from Turkana because she blended so well with them.For the love of Turkana community, Akothee adopted a girl on leaving Turkana.
She did not just pick a girl randomly but the girl won her heart for her talent. The Turkana attires that Akothee was wearing during her stay were made by the girl.
She shared the good news through her Instagram page where she said that her mother had overseen that she would carry a child back home. She said; ” waa my mum is a prophet , she knew I would definitely come back with either children or someone most likely a girl , oooh guilty as charged , yes I came back with one girl who dressed me all the time I was in Turkana, she has a raw talent that we need to grow , she is with me , now.”
Back to Nairobi, Akothee is calling on all Kenyans to donate what they can offer to the hunger stricken Kenyans. The donations are to be collected at Wilson airport where she has been given a collection point by Silver Stone air services.
