A 27-year-old woman has sued Labour Principal Secretary Nelson Marwa for child support.
Elizabeth Moraa Mairura claims Mr Marwa is the father of her 1-year-old daughter.
In the court papers filed in Kitale, the complainant says she got into a romantic relationship with Mr Marwa in 2017, when the PS was still Coast Regional Coordinator.
Ms Mairura claims ever since the birth of their daughter, Mr Marwa has been absconding parental responsibility.
Kitale Resident Magistrate Cherono Kesses has ordered DNA examination be conducted on Mr Marwa and the child to establish whether they are related by blood.
The DNA test will be done at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, Ms Kesses directed.
The case will be heard again on April 23.
