A section of Kalenjin Council of elders are seeking Uhuru’s attention to discuss the political animosity that is killing the existence political good will between Kikuyu and Kalenjin community.

Over the last four months,a Jubilee party has been experiencing a political tussle as Kalenjin MPs accuse Uhuru of targeting Ruto on the war against graft.

Led by Nandi governor Stephen Sang and MP Oscar Sudi,they claim that Uhuru is working in cohort with former prime minister to frustrate Ruto’s presidency 2022.

Ruto had said that its unfair for state to turn corruption war on individual noting that every corruption reported in the Country his name is mostly mentioned.

Ruto pointed finger to the opposition of trying to wreck Jubilee party to frustrate his ambition.

“Let us stop witch hunting,let not direct the fight against corruption to individual,it won’t be won that way,we should fight the vice but not me or someone else,”Ruto said.

President Uhuru Kenyatta found himself at a tight corner after he declared the fight against everyone including his closest political allies and family members.

Uhuru said that the fight against the vice won’t spare anyone as its derailing the implementation of the BIG 4 AGENDA and realization of vision 2030.

“The fight against corruption isn’t targeting anyone and let me make it clear i won’t spare anyone including my closest political allies and family member,if you are corrupt be ready for your consequence and stop dragging the community to the mess,”Uhuru said.

Amid the back and forth accusitions,Kalenjin elders now claim that they are ready to offer apology to the head of state for the humiliation he has get from the Kalenjin leaders like Sudi.

“We want to meet the President and first apologise to him over remarks by some of our leaders, which amount to disrespect to the Head of State,” elder Christopher Koyogi said.

The elders said President Kenyatta and the presidency must be accorded the respect it deserves.

Samwel Ngetich said leaders must engage in meaningful debates and those who want to angage the President must do so within the dictates of decorum

“We want to talk about jobs for our people, issues affecting farmers and development projects, when we meet the President,” Ng’etich said.

Kikuyu council of elders had earlier requested for a political tolerance across the Country noting that abusing each other wont help.

The Council chairman Wachira Kiago had said the presidency should be respected.

Already section Jubilee politicians from Mount Kenya who aren’t happy with Ruto’s presidency 2022 have vowed to form a new political party.

Led by Maina Kamanda,the MPs states that Ruto and his Kalenjin MPs have been disrespecting Uhuru Kenyatta.

“Mount Kenya region will field a candidate for presidency 2022,and we will have a new political outfit as Jubilee has been wrecked,”Kamanda said.
