ODM leader’s son Raila Junior Odinga has come out to support Siaya Senator James Orengo’s move to have Deputy President William Ruto impeached.
His statement came days after Senator Orengo vowed to institute an impeachment motion against Ruto.
Through his twitter account he wrote saying, ” Senior Counsel James Orengo is within his right to bring amotion of no confidence just like any other Kenyan can do, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a position of his party ODM. “

According to Orengo, constitutionally the Deputy President can be kicked out of office if it’s found guilty of violating law.
Orengo reminded Ruto that the Constitution allows the President to appoint a new deputy president after his removal, with the approval of the National Assembly.
Migori Senator Ochillo Ayacko seconded Orengo’s move to impeach the DP.
He quoted the Constitution that “any person who obstructs justice commits a crime and is liable to be jailed.”
