I’m counting on you, President Kenyatta to Prof Magoha

President Uhuru Kenyatta has finally given former Kenya National Examinations Council Chairman Prof George Magoha the mandate to take charge the education docket.

The no nonsense Prof was sworn in by the President at statehouse on Tuesday alongside new Commissioner General of the Kenya Prisons Service Wycliffe Ogalo.

Magoha’s sworn in came after a thorough and vigorous vetting by the MPs.

The president commended Prof Magoha and promised to work together.

Magoha is taking over as Education CS from Ambassador Amina Mohammed who moved to Sports docket after slain ex cabinet secretary was removed from Office during President Kenyatta’s mini Cabinet Reshuffle.

Present during the swearing-in ceremony were Interior CS Fred Matiang’i, Chief of Staff and Head of Delivery Nzioka Waita among other senior government officials.

During the vetting Magoha said everything he touches turns to gold and was not ready to fail.

He further warned MPs to keep away from school girls failure to which he will deal with them.
