Is Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria really serious with this whole Presidential Candidacy of his?
Kuria’s latest statements and movements across the Country shows a man who is out to take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta once his term comes to end in 2022.
Well, all this seems like cheap talk and with Kuria not revealing the details of his political vehicle, many will continue seeing him as a Joke.
Kuria has time and again claimed that the Democratic Party of Kenya is the Party he will use to seek the leadership of this Country. This too seem like a cheap talk as the Party’s leadership has time and again denied any association with him.
Tuesday saw posters of Moses Kuria doing rounds the Social Media. The Posters were designed in the Democratic Party of Kenya colours with the Party’s name featuring prominently on them.
This seemed to show that DP had finally endorsed Kuria’s Presidential bid only for the Party to later release a statement dilinking itself from Kuria.
According to DP, Kuria has not been endorsed as it’s 2022 Presidential candidate and neither has Hon. Moses Kuria engaged the party about the same.
The Party, through it’s Deputy Secretary General Wambugu Nyamu has said that it has an elaborate process on how to nominate its presidential candidate with a requirement that any presidential candidate for DP MUST be a DP life member, of which Hon. Moses Kuria is not.
The Public has therefore been urged to disregard any statement out there purporting that Moses Kuria is the Democratic Party of Kenya Presidential candidate.
