The suspects raided Kavirondo Fishnets Sundry and Hardware limited near New Victoria Hotel in Kisumu’s industrial area. The thugs, who were on a motorbike, brandished their guns at the customers and attendants before gaining entry into the shop and making away with the money.
The thugs wore helmets, hence, their faces could not be identified even from the CCTV footage. They escaped on a standby motorbike to an unknown destination.
Several police units have been mobilized to track down the criminals who carried out the daylight daring robbery.
