Kabogo calls Uhuru to declare corruption as a capital offence

Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo has urged president Uhuru to classify corruption as a capital offence.

Speaking,the former governor said that Kenyans are tired of numerous scandal unveiled everyday.

He advises Kenyans to join hands and support president Uhuru’s realization of big 4 agenda and vision 2030 instead of politicking on daily basis.

“Let us all stop these fights against succession and focus on how we can make our Country better as corruption is derailing implementation of the projects beneficial to the society,”he said.

He said that Kenyans should stop the succession politics and combine the effort and energy to initiate projects that can benefit the Country.

The Ex governor reiterated that the head of state should fire all the cabinet secretaries and principles who are adversely mentioned of being corrupt to resign.

Cabinet Secretaries and top officials, among them governors, have allegedly been directly involved in various scandals involving public theft.

He said Uhuru shouldn’t spare anyone mentioned by the investigative agencies noting this was the only way to regain public confidence that has been tainted.

“Let president Uhuru gazette corruption as a criminal offence and no one should dare to misuse the public money,”he said.

He noted that Uhuru determination to end corruption shouldn’t be under estimated.

He said through the frameworks the government has sent public money can be recovered back if the system isn’t compromised.

“The war on corruption is very simple,let uhuru strengthen the structures and gazette corruption as a criminal offence as it happen in other countries like China,”he said.

Kabogo has been on the forefront fighting for the restoration of sanity across the Country.

The head of state warned the corrupt, saying he is ready to fight his “closest political ally, brother or sister” if they steal from Kenyans.

Uhuru, in a no-holds-barred address to Kenyans in Windhoek, Namibia, promised an unrelenting crackdown on the corrupt.

“I won’t be clouded by ethnicity or status in my quest to leave behind a united nation and I will continue championing for Kenya’s unity.”

HIs comments were an apparent reference to his newfound love for Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga. Together they are working to heal the wounds of 2017-18 divisive elections and end animosity.

Some political leaders from rift valley had claimed that the fight against corruption isn’t genuine.
