The race for Kirinyaga Gubernatorial race 2022 will be very competitive as already three horses have set the ground running.
The Current governor Anne Waiguru,Women representative Purity Ngirici and Martha Karua has set aside millions for 2022.
The politician became a household name in central region because of her flashy campaigns that were characterized by helicopters and luxury vehicles.
Karua in 2017 slightly lost to Waiguru,she filed a case against Waiguru in supreme court but her case was dismissed for lack of enough evidence.
Its reported that Ngirici who has been influential in the area has been giving Waiguru a sleepless night as she run a parallel government.
It is against this background that Ngirici’s presence is being felt on the ground, with an atmosphere of unease surrounding Governor Waiguru.
