Why Argentina star Lionel Messi will cut short his international break

Lionel Messi has not played for his national team since their fall in the World cup in the hands of France who took home the trophy but his recall reveals a belief in him although he is not expected to play every match the the national team is going to play.

He will only play in one of Argentina’s two international friendlies over the next week, according to Marca.

The Barcelona star is making his first return to international football since being part of the side that was knocked out of last summer’s World Cup by eventual winners France in the last-16 stage.

Argentina face Venezuela at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano Stadium the venue for this season’s Champions League final on Friday evening.

Messi who has been training with his teammates at Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground this week is scheduled to play in that game, but will then reportedly return to Barcelona and not feature in the friendly against Morocco in Tangier on Tuesday next week.

Meanwhile, Cesar Luis Menotti the man who coached Argentina to their first World Cup triumph in 1978 has voiced his concern over the emotional load placed on Messi when he is with his national side.

“I see him with important emotional fatigue between the Champions League and the national team. I see him very tired.”If he wants to play with Argentina, better.”
