State house point fingers to spammers as Uhuru’s account suspended

President Uhuru Kenyatta twitter account was deactivated on Friday by state house for the necessary remedial measures to be undertaken.

The state house accused spammers who have been accessing Uhuru’s account and posting controversial posts purporting to e the head of state.

Officially, State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita on Friday said there are “unauthorised” individuals with access to the President’s social media accounts.

” On account of unauthorized access to the official social media handles of H.E the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta .All official social media handles for the President have been temporarily suspended to allow for the necessary remedial measures to be undertaken,” Waita said.

Recently, several social media accounts have been posting on behalf of president Uhuru Kenyatta.

The center of the contention was a post that seemed to target one of the high ranking government official who has severally been accused of being corrupt.

“If you are corrupt we will fight you. You can be my brother or my sister or my closest political ally, but if you are corrupt we will fight you,” was the bone of contention.

This is not the first time that Waita has taken such action after previously deactivating accounts that were associated with the PSCU.
