Renowned Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi, engrossed with fellow learned friends on controversial Supreme Court Jackton Boma Ojwang’s credibility sounded a warning not to be compared with Ojwang.
The Senior Counsel, alias Grand Mullah on Twitter said, “Please don’t abuse me or hold me to the vile standards of Ojwang…. He wrote to please his master or to earn favours. His writings were fascist writings, mundane recycling of the obvious.”
This is after the Grand Mullah said this in a Twitter response where another legal scholar, Migai Aketch said that Ahmednasir can not compare to JB Ojwang’s contribution in the legal profession.
Senate Majority Leader Murkomen also joined in, agreeing that Ojwang’s body of work goes undisputed.
Ahmednassir was further questioned for now rubbishing Ojwang yet he is was part of the Judicial Service Commission when Ojwang was appointed.
JB Ojwang is currently facing various allegations against him including being bribed to deliver favourable rulings.
He is accusedof two accounts: Authoring a judgment with respect to the Sony Sugar belt and in return being rewarded by Migori County Governor Okoth Obado, who built a road to his private residence on the outskirts of Migori town; as well as writing a judgment despite a pending disciplinary matter against him alongside justices Mohamed Ibrahim and Njoki Ndung’u.
