DP Ruto forced to kneel during visit to Eulogize Zambian Diplomat to Kenya

The deputy president William Ruto was today forced to kneel down as he salute relative and family friends to the late Zambian ambassador to Kenya who died in Nairobi hospital.

Madam Brenda Muntemba, 49, died this week after months of hospitalization following an accident at Lukenya area few weeks ago in Machakos County.

Kenya, through Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Monica Juma, sent condolences to the family, describing the deceased as a top diplomat who fought for mutual cooperation between Nairobi and Lusaka.

Dr Ruto described the deceased as an astute diplomat who endeavored to strengthen mutual cooperation between the two nations.

“We send sincere condolences to the people of Zambia following the passing on of Brenda Muntemba, Zambia’s High Commissioner to Kenya. 

“She was an astute diplomat, who endeavored to strengthen Kenya-Zambia relations and broaden our collaboration. May God give her family grace to bear this great loss. Ruto said.

After the burial Zambia will send new diplomat to represent their interest in Kenya.
