President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday attended Namibia’s 29th year of independence celebration where he was also slated to give a speech.
The President gave an all-moving oration, urging African nations to strive to build and entrench peaceful, democratic and prosperous societies without discrimination or prejudice.
He further took to quoting Namibia’s Former President Daniel Nujoma inauguration speech that stated in part “our nation blazed the trail to freedom. It has risen to its feet. As from today, we are the masters of this vast land of our ancestors…”
Kenyatta and his team clearly did their homework as is speech further included historically remarkable personalities of Namibia and their key role towards the country’s independence.
