Deputy president William Ruto and his close ally Kipchumba Morkomen has attacked Elgeyo Mrakwet governor Tolgos who seem to oppose the corrupt leaders in the region over the disappearance of 21 billion.
Tolgos has suggested that some politicians had stolen money meant for the Construction of dams in the region.
The governor had said that the Kimwarer dam was meant to help locals but the money was stolen and thus leaders need to come together and discuss it.
Senate Majority leader Morkomen accused the governor is being used by forces to fight the deputy president.
“Hii vita ya Kimwarer we need to sit down as leaders and talk,”he said.
The leaders warned the governor not to incite people to register complains with the EACC.
