Kenyatta University fraternity held a requiem mass of two of their scholars who perished in the Ethiopian Airplane crash on 10th March.
Prof. Agnes M.W. Gathumbi and Dr. Isaac M. Mwangi were part of the passengers on the plane who perished on that fateful day.
The two were members of staff at the University, working in the Department of Education And Technology, School Of Education respectively. Professor Gathumbi was also The Director, Center for Teacher Professional Development and Excellence.
Among those attended included, Chancellor, Kenyatta University, Benson Wairegi, Deputy Vice Chancellor Gravenier Rio representing the Vice Chancellor Professor Paul Wainaina and Former Vice Chancellor Olive Mugenda.
They were eulogized as being trailblazers’ in innovations and developments in the education sector.
