Harambee Stars ready for African Cup of Nations

Kenyan national team Harambee Stars will take on Ghana this Saturday for their second leg of the African Cup of Nations.

Speaking during their training session national team at coach Sebastian Migne said despite a few injuries the team is ready for the game.

“Despite a few injuries, the team is well prepared for the game because the players have shown quality to play  for the country at the international stage and this is an opportunity for them to showcase this. “Said Migne

He further said they are in communication with the government to help speed up the process getting a Kenyan passport for Swedish based midfielder Christopher Tangen Mbamba who earned his maiden chance to represent the national team.

According to Captain Victor Wanyama Ghana is a strong team and they are looking forward to a good challenge.

“Ghana is a strong team who will present a challenge to us but we are looking forward to a good performance because this is a chance to build up for the tournament. “Said Wanyama

Kenya beat Ghana 1-0 in their first leg match with the team confident for a win in Ghana this Saturday as they have already qualified for this year’s tournament after topping their table.
