Burial arrangements of Reformed Late Patrick Hinga revealed

Patrick Hinga, shot to fame in October 2017. Hinga made headlines for his struggle with addiction and the selfless act of kindness from his former schoolmate Wanja who came to his rescue while she was on her way to the market. She later sent him to rehab where he was able to get help and return to good health.

Reformed street urchin, Patrick Hinga, who died on Sunday, March 17th, will be buried on Friday, March 22th 2019. The late Mr. Hinga’s former schoolmate and rescuer, Wanja Mwaura on Tuesday revealed in a Facebook post that the deceased will be buried at his parents’ home in Ruai.

“Hinga’s body will leave Kenyatta University mortuary at 9 am. The mass service will start at 11 am at their home in Ruai along Kangundo Road,” said Ms. Mwaura on Facebook.

Ms. Mwaura, a nurse by profession, has appealed for financial help toward arranging Mr. Hinga’s funeral and to give him a decent send-off. Any financial contribution can be sent to her phone number 0726200126 or Mr. Hinga’s mother’s phone contact 0724866978.

According to a Facebook post by Wanja, the deceased succumbed to a stomach illness, shortly after eating food at a friend’s place in Kayole, Nairobi.
