Ibrahimovic reveals what Manchester United will find very difficult to achieve going forward

Former Manchester United attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that it will be very difficult for Manchester United to find a new identity after the departure Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.

Since the legendary Scotsman retired from the beautiful game, United have has three permanent managers in David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho. The trio could not met the high expectations of the club and its fans and were all dismissed.

Zlatan said: ‘Ferguson has his place in history at this club but now the club continues. It has to find its own identity and it is difficult.’

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently in charge of United and has been able to get his players to demonstrate some of what the fans of the club want to see with a stunning comeback against Paris Saint-Germain the highlight of his reign so far.

It is unclear if Solskjaer will get the job permanently with the club crashing out of the FA Cup and in danger of missing out of the UEFA Champions League.

Zlatan has also attacked Paul Scholes and Gary Neville, saying that they complain excessively about Manchester United.

‘They are not there any more,’ Ibrahimovic continued. ‘They are on TV and complaining all the time because they are not active in the club. ‘If you want to work in the club, go and search for work in the club.

‘So you cannot be on TV and always complaining and criticising. Yeah, ok, you’ve had your time, we know it. With Pogba, he was with United when he was young, then he went out and he came back.

‘And in the circle of Ferguson, they don’t like that. Because they stayed all their life under Ferguson and they never moved from Ferguson. Meanwhile, Paul Scholes son Arron has been found guilty of assault after beat up a former friend. He was accused of taking a picture of the victim’s face and was escorted to the trial by the United legend. He pleaded not guilty to the assault charges, claiming he acted in self-defense, but he was convicted after the conclusion of the trial.

This is coming after Scholes surprised football fans by resigning from his job with Oldham United after 31 days.
