Imagine waking up to find the graveyard of your loved one flattened and made a farm.
A South African Company that grows tomatoes has been sued for destroying relatives’ grave.They have also accused the police for refusing to register a case of their violation against giant fresh produce company, ZZ2
The families said that they had approached a Police Station to open cases of violating graves.One of the affected families, said when they arrived at the police station, they were told that they could only open a single case.
“We insisted that is not possible because every family needed to open their cases. We had to go back after a few days to make our statements, but till today there is no case number allocated.”
A Police spokesperson said there was no criminal case or complaint opened against the Tomato Company, ZZ2.
