Oscar award-winner Morgan Freeman’s film set in Kenya will be aired on Tuesday on internationally acclaimed television station, National Geographic.

Freeman is known for his hit television series ‘The Story of God with Morgan Freeman‘ that airs on the station and seeks to understand the true meaning of God.

In his latest undertaking, the revered actor visited the country late last year and documented his findings that will be part of episode three of the series.

Dr Charles Mulli

During his trip to Kenya, Freeman interviewed Dr Charles Mulli, a celebrated social entrepreneur and the founder of Mully Children’s Family, who is also set to feature in the film.

“In some places I found answers, and others led to more questions. The constant through it all is that we’re all looking to be part of something bigger than us. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that we certainly are,” stated Freeman as reported by The Star.

According to the structure of his hour-long show, the actor seeks to understand how religion has evolved and impacted the society.

A different divine subject is usually covered in each episode of the show.

Among those who have appeared on his show are survivors of exorcism and Freeman himself has, in the past, gone in search of the devil.

In 2005, Freeman won an academy award for his role as a supporting actor in the film, Million Dollar Baby. He also scored four nominations for various other films.

Before appearing on Freeman’s show, Dr Mulli’s visions of God were also extensively covered in a movie, Mully,  released in October 2017 and was directed by Scott Haze.
