A Man was on Monday charged with raping a mad elderly woman.The man who is a Garbage collector attacked the woman on the streets and abused her sexually.
Paul Mutuigi, 28, was charged before Kibera principal magistrate Derrick Kuto. He Forced himself on the woman as the prosecutors admitted.
Paul was also charged with an indecent act for touching the woman’s breasts without her consent. Police said they were on patrol duties when they spotted him forcing himself on the unidentified woman.
They were both arrested and the woman was only released when they realised that the woman was mad after interrogation. Mutuigi’s statement was recorded at Kibera police station.
The suspect denied the charges, saying he did not rape the woman. He said they had an agreement to make love.
The hearing will be on April 4th and he was released on Ksh.20,000 bond
