Flying Squad Found THIS at Nairobi Barclays Bank branch amid a raid

Normal operations were temporarily disrupted at Barclays Bank branch in Nairobi on Tuesday, March 19, after police officers discovered KSh 17 billion. A contingent of Flying Squad officers drove in on information a customer had brought in suspected fake money for deposit at Queensway branch, Nairobi on Tuesday, March 19.

Several hawk-eyed officers ambushed the said suspect upon which they found wads of cash stashed in a safe. A multi-agency team has been reportedly dispatched to the scene and will comb through the building to investigate fake currency syndicate which has hit Kenyan business wave in the recent past. Recently, detectives from the office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) nabbed two people with fake gold and an estimated KSh 8 billion in Kenyan and foreign currency. The suspects identified as Joseph Munyao was arrested alongside his accomplice Nancy Muthoni in Ruiru on Wednesday, February 27. This is after seven individual who allegedly imitated President Uhuru Kenyatta’s voice to con Nairobi billionaire Naushad Merali KSh 10 million, led sleuths to Ruiru house.
