Nyamira county commissioner Amos Mariba said suicide cases are on the rise and there is a need for people to seek guidance and counselling.

“It is very disappointing that even teachers who are supposed to be guiding the people are ending their lives. We need to address this issue,” Mariba said.

He also advised the residents to seek advice from spiritual leaders.
