Health Cabinet Secretary has issued a directive barring all health facilities from withholding bodies of deceased patients over medical bills.
The directive issued on Friday comes after Members of parliament in February passed a bill to scrap off such debts upon patients death.
This is a reprieve to Kenyans struggling to pay hospital bills for their loved ones who dies while receiving medication.
