One of the most encouraging stories in Kenya about overcoming depression and drug addiction has come to a sad end.
Patrick Hinga who was rescued by schoolmate Faith Nganga from overcoming depression and drug life has kicked the bucket.
Faith sadly took to social media to inform about Wahinga’s demise saying,
“With deep sorrow I want to inform you that Hinga has rested. He passed on this morning. I don’t have the strength to say much right now. R.I.P my friend”.
Ms. Wanja says that Hinga died after complaining of stomachache which started on Thursday and persisted till his death on Saturday.
Faith touched the hearts of many Kenyans, last year, when she took her drug addicted friend from the streets, cleaned him up, fed him and put him in a rehab.
Many have sent in their condolences acknowledging that Faith was truly an outstanding friend whose brave action will forever be remembered.
RIP HINGA!!May his soul rest in peace.
