Barely weeks after the death of a UoN student, OCS Ragira, was murdered at a club outside the varsity’s premise, a Fourth Year student at Moi University was on Friday evening killed by his colleague at a nightclub.
This also happened near the institution’s main campus in Eldoret.
It is said the victim, a Bachelor of Education student, was stabbed to death after he allegedly stole a mobile phone from the suspect.
The victim died while being taken to hospital.
His body was moved to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
An investigation into the incident has been begun as police hunt for the suspect.
