What You Need to Know About United VS Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United meet in a huge FA Cup quarter-final clash on Saturday evening.

Both teams are fighting on multiple fronts with Wolves chasing seventh spot in the Premier League and a first FA Cup triumph since 1960, and United still alive and kicking in the Champions League after their dramatic victory over PSG.

The focus in both camps is firmly on the FA Cup now, though, with a place in the semi-finals at Wembley up for grabs.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the game:

As has been the case for much of this season, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has virtually a full squad to choose from.

Defender Ryan Bennett missed last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea due to suspension but he’s available for this cup clash. Romain Saiss stepped in at the back so Nuno will have to decide whether to reinstate Bennett or stick with the impressive Moroccan.

United have plenty of injury issues. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to field a makeshift back four at Molineux with the experienced Ashley Young suspended and Phil Jones a doubt.

Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian are expected to miss out so Portuguese youngster Diogo Dalot could come in at right-back.

Alexis Sanchez isn’t likely to feature but Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera have returned to training.
