UON Vice Chancellor Makes Careless & Zero Empathy Statement Following Ragira’s Murder

The murder of Samuel Ragira at Klabu Market Opposite Nairobi Primary School has certainly angered a number of Kenyan Youths and especially students from the Univeristy of Nairobi who even ran battles with the Police.

OCS Ragira was killed by armed gooms when he stormed Klabu Market to stop exploitation of traders by the goons who were demanding 10,000 shillings in exchange of market stalls.

Ragira was shot at close range and his dead body later taken to City mortuary.

While Comrades are angry Kenyans are Mourning this fallen soldier, Univeristy of Nairobi Vice Chancellor Prof. Mbithi seems unmoved by Rigara’s death.

He has refuted claims that Klabu Market is a UON Property. He has also said that former UON Students are not UON Students in move seen by many as one aimed at delinking Ragira from the Univeristy.

Below is Mbithi’s Statement:

“Please note,
Club 36 is not University of Nairobi @uonbi property. It is run by people who are not UoN staff or students. Former students are not UoN students. Goons are not UoN students. Expelled students are not UoN students. Club 36 is a dangerous place, avoid.” he said.
